Good Customer Service

Good customer service means going the extra mile and doing your job.

Recently, I stayed at the Baymont Hotel in Maumee, Ohio.  The service was very bad.  When I arrived at the hotel, the clerk and manager didn't even speak to me.  I had to acknowledge my presence to them, after I went into the hotel, they gave me a room on a smoking floor.   I thought that most hotels had no smoking policies?  Well, I was wrong.   I complained to the aloof staff and I told them that I wanted another room.

The staff did give me another room, however, it was right next to the club house.   The club house is where people come and get breakfast and it has a television in the room.   We made it through the nights there, but will never stay there again.

What was equally sad was the cleanup crew didn't change the toilet tissue in the bathroom.  This was sad, because we only had enough to last part of the day.  

Good customer service would have greeted guests, no matter what their background is.    Good customer service would have made sure that the toilet tissue was changed properly.

Good customer service truly was lacking at this Baymont Hotel, and we will never set foot in that place again.

I will file an official complaint.

The plan

Make that plan count.  Stop going over the same thing, over and over again, and not making any progress.  The plan that you had last week, why did you let it fail.  Readjust your focus and start over again.   The reason most people do not succeed is they quit before the results kick in.  Make sure you complete that plan.
